Disabled Man Needs 1 Bill Paid

      Posted in JK051457 on Dec 26, 2006

      Hello all,

I would like to request aid for my cable bill. Now before you go "Oh No, Cable is NOT a Necessity", please read on.

I am a 49 year old man that is on disability for several mental issues, and also suffered a broken back this past summer. I had to have surgery and now have hardware in my back so that it looks like a "railroad track" on my X-rays. I am barely able to walk and the surgeon said that it is a "miracle" that I can even walk at all!

I  hardly ever go anywhere except to the Dr's. I have to stay at home most all of the time. My only recreation at all is my TV and internet. My cable service bundles my TV, Internet and Phone all in one service. So without this service , I'm afraid I really would go crazy!!!!

I have no family to help me. I only got behind on my bills because my bank sold out to another bank and in the process screwed up my (and others), accounts. They took most of my disability check to straighten out the mess last month. So I have been "robbing Peter to pay Paul" just to keep my utilities and rent on. I just need some one time help with this bill that I wasn't able to do anything about.

Please, won't some kind hearted soul help me out just this once? My bill is total $ 258.85. You could use your credit card to pay it over the phone directly to the company, or mail them a check with my account number on it. I can provide you with any and all documentation to prove my need and sincerety.

I would be glad to pay it back to you if you can accept very small payments every month. Please, somebody please help me. I will absolutely go stir crazy with out my TV, computer and phone!! I have no other way to connect with the "outside" world. Part of my mental problems is not being able to leave my home.

Please, I have more than my share of problems, so if you are not sincere, please don't reply to me. I have a legitimate need, and I hope and pray that others never find themselves in a similar situation like I am having to live with. It is a terrible way to live.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this. God Bless You All!

      Jimmy
